What’s Happening at the Boone County Public Library?

An overview of the upcoming projects and activities of the Boone County Public Library (@BooneLibrary), along with the current state of the library will be the topic of discussion as presented by Carrie Herrmann (@CarrieHerrmann) to the Rotary Club of Florence (@FlorenceRotary) on Monday, January 23, 2022.
Carrie Herrmann is the Executive Director of the Boone County Public Library District. She has 35 years experience in libraries, most of those being located in Northern Kentucky. Herrmann graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Masters in Library and Information Science. She has worked for the Boone County Public Library for twenty-two years, the last eight as the Library Director.
Entering the new year, Mrs. Herrmann will be providing an update on the completed projects of the BCPL, along with the projects planned for t
he year. In addition to this, Herrmann has several things to announce on behalf of the library. Among these are an update on their grants received, upcoming traveling exhibits, and the strategic plan going into the next few years. The process of being appointed to the Boone County Library Board will be shared and individuals are encouraged to apply.
