On Monday, May 11th , the Rotary Club of Florence will have the pleasure of hearing from Bridget Striker, Local History Coordinator of the Boone County Public Library.
Ms. Striker will be talking about the library’s initiative: African Americans of Boone County: Restoring History. 
The purpose of the African Americans of Boone County initiative is to give African Americans a voice in Boone County’s history and to connect the descendants of enslaved to that history.
Guests are always welcome.
