The work done by  Kentucky Refugee Ministries (@KyRefugee) and how they are working to help our community will be the topic of discussion as presented by the Volunteer Coordinator, Seth Peterson (@sethpeterson), to the Rotary Club of Florence (@FlorenceRotary) on Monday, February 27, 2022.

Kentucky Refugee Ministries, Inc. (KRM), a non-profit organization based in Covington, Kentucky, is dedicated to providing resettlement services to refugees through faith- and agency-based co-sponsorship in order to promote successful integration into our community. KRM is committed to offering access to community resources and opportunities, as well as promoting awareness of diversity for the benefit of the whole community. KRM assists newcomers with housing, employment, cultural orientation, and English classes, all in an effort to help them become self-sufficient members of the community.

Although he only recently began working with Kentucky Refugee Ministries, Seth Peterson has had no shortage of serving others in his life. While studying for his Advanced Diploma in Ministry at Hills

ong College in Australia, he also interned there directly under the pastoral stream oversight. After this, he spent two years leading the Worship Department of Community of Faith Churches. He organized and led a team of 75 volunteers for the Church to facilitate weekly events. Most recently, in January of this year, he joined the KRM as the Volunteer Coordinator.

Anyone interested in contributing to this non-profit, may do so here or contact the KRM front office at (859) 547-5571.

Guests are always welcome to attend.
