Join the Rotary Club of Florence, serving all of Boone County (@FlorenceRotary), on Monday, February 8th, 2021 at noon as we hear from the Boone County Extension (@BooneCountExt) Agent for Horticulture Education, David Koester.  David Koester, Boone County Cooperative Extension

David Koester will be presenting about Local Food Production. He is a Graduate of University of Kentucky. Koester was the Garden Columnist at the Kentucky Post for 20 years. He also managed a landscape nursery for three years. Koester is the manager of a 55 acre apple orchard and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati. He has been the Agriculture Agent in both Kenton County and Campbell County. Currently, he is the Horticulture Agent in Boone County, specializing in Commercial Fruit and Vegetable Production. Koester is a certified arborist and a member of the International Society of Arboriculture. Lastly, he is on the board of the Kentucky Organic Association.
