David DelBello, Owner and President of the Florence Y’alls (@florence_yalls) Frontier League Baseball team, will be speaking to the Rotary Club of Florence (@FlorenceRotary) about
their opening day alongside the General Manager, Max Johnson, on Monday, April 17, 2023.
The Florence Y’alls are a professional baseball team based at Thomas More Stadium near Interstates 71 and 75. The Y’alls are a member of the Western Division of the Frontier League, an independent baseball league. Since 2004, the team has been a staple of Northern Kentucky, drawing in hundreds of thousands of fans throughout the years.
In 2019, David DelBello completed his purchase of the Florence Y’alls from the previous owner and began rebranding. Previously known as the Florence Freedom, the Y’alls new name is inspired by the “Florence Y’all” water tower. Max Johnson, who started as a Box Office Manager for the team, has worked his way up to become the General Manager as of February of 2022.
The Florence Y’alls 2023 Season Opening Day Game is on May 11th against the Gateway Grizzlies. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased here.
