Rotary Club of Florence Celebrates History with Passing of the Gavel Ceremony on June 24th

The Rotary Club of Florence will continuing their long standing tradition of the passing of the gavel from the current year president to the new president at their meeting on Monday, June 24th starting at noon.  The ceremony will be at the Hilton Airport in Florence.

Incoming President Frank Schneider will be taking the lead for the club for the 2019-2020 year.  The club will be celebrating its 75th Anniversary during his year of tenure.  The passing of the gavel ceremony is a long standing tradition when past presidents return to celebrate the club’s history and show the many years of knowledge and support which the new president will be able to lean upon.

Guests are always welcome.

Location:  Hilton Airport, 7373 Turfway Road, Florence, Kentucky

11:45 am – Buffet Opens ($14 Buffet, Coffee, Tea and Dessert)
12:15 pm – President Jim Ferguson, Presiding
                     Greeting, Prayer, Pledge & 4-Way Test
12:30 pm – Program Begins
 1:00 pm – Meeting Adjourned
