We all have busy lives and sometimes we just can’t make it to the weekly Monday lunch meeting. That is ok! There are plenty of ways you can make-up your meeting attendance. Just make sure to enter it on-line or email Carrie Herrman by the 10th of the month so it can be counted.
- Watch the video replay of meetings on our YouTube Channel. We used to live stream on Facebook, but some people are not on Facebook so we switched over to YouTube. Make sure to subscribe to our channel, click the “thumbs up” on the videos and make a comment to document you watched the video. If you find a meeting was interesting, feel free to share it via email or any social media platforms.
- Read the monthly Rotarian Magazine. There are many interesting articles.
- Volunteer at an event or attend a social event. These are great things to do even if you do not have to make a meeting attendance up.
- Participate and help with team activities. Every member belongs to a team. When you attend a meeting or volunteer your time to work on something outside of our regular meetings, that time counts.
If you have made all of your meeting time up, don’t forget to track and turn in your additional volunteer hours. All of our volunteer hours are looked at by district and national. We want to make sure we count everything we can.
So how do you turn in your meeting make-ups and hours?
- You can log into DACdb, Click on My DATA, Click on Enter Makeup in the left Navigation bar, Enter the information and press the Submit button. You will receive an e mail confirming your submission and when Carrie Herrman, our secretary approves it, you will receive an additional message.
- Email Carrie Herrman with date, location, or activity and hours of your make-up or volunteer hours. She will enter it for you.
Don’t forget to do this by the 10th of the month otherwise the month closes and the opportunity to enter make-ups is lost.
