Giving every child the ability to participate in sports, with Samantha Payne and All Abilities Sports Northern Kentucky

Join the Rotary Club of Florence, serving all of Boone County (@FlorenceRotary), on Monday, August 5, 2024, at noon to hear Samantha Payne, Director of All Abilities Sports Northern Kentucky, discuss her goal in creating All Abilities Sports – forming an all-encompassing organization for young athletes of all abilities to play sports. And now that the organization is flourishing, she is moving to an even bigger mission…a miracle league baseball field!
After many tears watching her son struggle to find his place playing sports with typical developing peers, Samantha was determined to find an alternative. When she discovered that there were organizations in Cincinnati, but that there wasn’t anything in Northern Kentucky, she created an organization in less than 48 hours. Now, within 1 year of beginning, All Abilities Sports NKY has had over 375 athletes participate and a miracle league baseball field is in the works! Families have found connections, players have made friends and her son Blake finally has his place.
Empowering children of all abilities, All Abilities Sports NKY is dedicated to fostering inclusive sports experiences within our community. They warmly welcome every child, embracing diversity and ensuring that all can thrive on their fields regardless of their diagnoses.
