The Rotary Club of Florence, Kentucky will be hearing from the Assistant Postal Inspector in Charge Christopher White on Monday, September 9th.
Chris began his federal service with the United States Air Force and served as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. He served over thirteen years on active duty, including a special duty assignment overseas. Chris became a Postal Inspector in January of 2000 and was first domiciled in Norfolk, VA, where he worked Identity Theft, Violent Crime, and Dangerous Mail Investigations. He transferred to Phoenix, AZ in April of 2004 and was promoted to Team Leader of a Mail Theft/Identity Theft/Child Exploitation/Violent Crimes Team. He later transferred to Division Headquarters where he supervised Mail Fraud, Revenue, and Child Exploitation investigations. In 2012, Chris was promoted to his current position of Assistant Postal Inspector in Charge of the Pittsburgh Division. He currently oversees all Inspection Service activities and investigations under the Cincinnati Field Office and 6 domiciles located in Evansville, IN, Louisville & Lexington, KY, Columbus, OH, Charleston, WV, and Roanoke, VA, covering three U.S. Postal Service districts and six Federal judicial districts.
