The Rotary Club of Florence will hear from Boone County Human Services Director, Laura Pleiman at their meeting on Monday, May 13th starting at noon. The presentation will be at the Hilton Airport in Florence.
Laura Pleiman is Human Services Director for the Boone County Fiscal Court. Here, she administers and monitors the distribution of payroll tax funds which support aging, intellectual disability and mental health services provided by a broad range of community partners. She actively works to advocate for quality human services programming for Boone County residents through roles on various boards – The Brighton Center Board of Directors; Northern Kentucky Agency for Substance Abuse Policy (NKY ASAP), Vice Chair; Northern Kentucky Regional Mental Health Court Board, Vice Chair; Boone County Early Childhood Fund Board and the Northern Kentucky Area Development District Board, alternate. Laura holds a Masters of Public Administration degree from Northern Kentucky University. She is married to Adam Pleiman and together they have three young children.
